What Are We Doing to Achieve Greater Sustainability?
Recycling
It might seem like a small thing, but we know how much of an impact recycling can have on our environment. We're committed to putting less trash in landfills by focusing on recycling and making it easy for our employees and customers to dispose of their recyclables while at our dealership.
Water Dispenser with Paper Water Bottles
Using less plastic is another small step that can make a massive difference. By using paper cups and bottles instead of plastic, we hope to leave less of a mark on our environment.
Captured Rainwater for Car Washes
We're set up to use rainfall to our advantage! Our dealership is equipped to capture rainwater and reuse it for car washes here at our dealership, which is more sustainable than pumping water from other sources.
Climate action
As a mobility provider we recognize that we are part of the problem of climate change and have a responsibility to act. By reducing emissions across our entire value chain, we aim to become a climate-neutral company by 2040.
Electrifying our fleet
Tailpipe emissions account for a significant part of our carbon footprint. That is why every new Volvo car launched from 2019 onwards has an electric motor. Our aim is that 50 per cent of our annual car sales should be all-electric by 2025, with the remainder consisting of hybrids.
