With competition building up, the new XC60 has added various features, including a refresh of the interior to have more luxurious quality materials. Design

Performance

The B6 powertrain offered in the higher trim levels comprises the same engine, a turbocharged 2.0-liter but power-boosted to generate 295 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The standard drivetrain for the B6 is an all-wheel drive system, while the B5 has a standard front-wheel drive and an optional all-wheel drive system.
For the 2023 models, Volvo has eliminated the non-Extended Range XC60 Recharge, meaning that all models have a 36-mile range of electric-only mode in the T8 variants. The T8 setup comprises a 2.0-liter engine powering the front axle and an electric motor delivering power to the rear axle. It can take between three and five hours to charge the T8's lithium-ion battery. The combined power output of the T8 setup is 455 horsepower and 523 pound-feet of torque.
Interior & Technology
When you enter the Volvo XC40, you will experience technology features that make your driving more convenient and comfortable. At the dashboard's center console is an infotainment system configured with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity features. Users with a Google account can sign in and sync to have the calendar and other special Google features. Bowers & Wilkins and Harman Kardon are audio systems for the higher trims.
