Built upon the efficiency of the compact 2L, four-cylinder engine design, both B5 and B6 improvements add electrification through an all-new, 48V system joined to a 13 hp Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). The ISG unit also delivers a more silent, faster approach to starting and a refinement of the start/stop function.
